The Acquisition Streamlining and
Standardization Information System (ASSIST) is a database system for DOD-wide
standardization document information management. The ASSIST database resides
at the Department of Defense Single Stock Point for Military Specifications
and Standards (DODSSP), located at DAPS, Philadelphia. The
ASSIST-Online is a robust, comprehensive web site providing access to
current information associated with military and federal specifications and
standards in the management of the Defense Standardization Program (DSP),
managed by the DoD Single Single Stock Point (DODSSP), Philadelphia,
ASSIST-Online provides public access to standardization documents over the
Internet. ASSIST-Online includes many powerful reporting features and
an exhaustive collection of both digital and warehouse documents.
ASSIST is the official source of DoD specifications and standards.

ASSIST-Quick Search allows you to
conduct simple document searches of the ASSIST document repository without
having to register for ASSIST-Online. Searches can be made by Document
Identification, Document Number, Title, and FSC/AREA.
ASSIST-Quick Search provides direct access to Defense and Federal
specifications and standards available in the official DoD repository, the
ASSIST database. |

The
ASSIST Shopping Wizard is an online shopping system with access to the
complete collection of DoD specifications and standards indexed in the
(ASSIST) Acquisition Streamlining and Standardization Information System.
Managed by the DoD Single Stock Point (DoDSSP), Philadelphia. The ASSIST
Shopping Wizard makes it easy to search, collect and order! Users may search
the Shopping Wizard to locate any document indexed in ASSIST. The ASSIST
Shopping Wizard provides public access to standardization documents over the
Internet. Users may place
orders for documents in either paper or CD-ROM
media formats by
registering for a free customer account with the DoDSSP.
 All
documents ordered through the ASSIST Shopping Wizard are available free of
charge! |
